Mindfulness Practice
There is a saying in Tai Chi, 'we use the body, but we practice the mind'. When the mind focuses on a single task, the body can reject stress. The practice of being aware, through intentional movement, unlocks physical abilities as our skill of alignment, balance and coordination deepens. Join Danielle Meglio to learn how incorporating Tai Chi into your daily life can bring an awareness of your body - bringing body and mind into harmony to create a state of well-being.

Every year community members who are without family or friends nearby ask The Center where they might go to not be alone for the holiday. In the past we've had nowhere to send them. This year we're asking you if you would be willing to host one or two people in your home and make room for them at your table.

If you are willing to be a host for community members for a holiday meal,
please contact Candice Nichols at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
