Performance and Choreography by Andrew Pearson
this is a blank page . a story, in motion  is an evening of dance and theater directed by Andrew Pearson, the founder and facilitator of Bodies in Play. As a solo artist, his work has been presented by numerous festivals and he has served as an Artist in Residence for Northern Kentucky University, Los Feliz School of the Arts, and Orange County School of the Arts. He has been commissioned to create work for the LA Contemporary Dance Company, among others. As a dancer, Andrew has freelanced with many LA companies and has worked in Opera, Musical Theater, and Film and Television. He has performed internationally in Buenos Aires, Paris, and Malaga, Spain and taught master classes in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. Andrew currently performs his own solo work, freelances as a guest teacher and choreographer, and is a longstanding member of the LA Contemporary Dance Company.

In this hilarious satire on B-movies of the 1950's, Mary Eleanor, an innocent duped into crime, lands in the Greenwich Village Woman's House of Detention. The prison is presided over by a massive matron with a taste for sadism and female flesh, as our heroine, now Caged in the Big House, learns about life The Hard Way.

Recommended for mature audiences: language, adult situations, sexual content.

The cast includes Francesca Amari, Miguel Arballo, Melanie Blue, Ruth Braun, Kimberly Cole, Loren Freeman, Deb Harmon, Adina Lawson, Phylicia Mason, Kam Sisco and Yo Younger.

Arlen Keith Leight, LCSW, PhD, is offering this group at NO FEE because he is new to the Palm Springs area and would like to introduce himself and his work to the community. The only obligation is a commitment to attend all 6 sessions once the dates have been set.
