"Food is Security and a Human Right"
With these messages displayed on their t-shirts, two extraordinary men invited family & friends to their home last Wednesday to make a personal passion come to life. Tim Wood and Jim Scheibel organized “Fritos and French Onion the Food Raiser”, a benefit to The Community Food Bank @ The Center, to help stock the pantry at our Food Bank. Over 9,000 lbs of food were collected and a significant monetary donation as well to fund our food bank initiative.

On behalf of the clients of The Community Food Bank @ The Center, much gratitude and love to you two for organizing this incredible food drive and everyone who so generously contributed. Thank you…#thecenterps

DINNER WITH FRIENDS by Donald Margulies

The complexities of marriage and friendship are examined with wit and intelligence in Dinner with Friends, Donald Margulies’ Pulitzer Prize-winning 1998 play about two married couples who have been friends for many years. As both couples struggle with questions of loyalty, individuality, and commitment in this deliciously funny, sharply observed drama, the ultimate question is posed – If Gabe and Karen didn’t really know Beth and Tom as well as they assumed…do they really know each other? The willingness or unwillingness to engage in this re-evaluation is the heart and spirit of the play. Directed by Darin Anthony

*WINNER of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize.
