Creative Writing

Join one of the Center’s most popular programs…

For both new and experienced writers

Starting JULY 7 - Eight Saturdays / 1 pm – 3 PM

For you, nationally published author David Wallace leads an informally structured program designed to enable you to discover and develop your personal writing talent –whether it be a novel, a family history, poetry, a play, or a sci-fi saga - within a comfortable, supportive environment.

David, who believes that everyone has a story to tell, can also, as he has done often in past classes, help you to discover what maximizes your own natural ability and interests. During the class, all are guided from concept through basic writing techniques, researching, writing, and editing their work as well as given tips on getting published.  David is also available for personalized advice between class meetings.

Wallace, whose work has been called "inspired" by The New York Times, is the author of 8 nationally published nonfiction books (with a new one on the way), 3 novels, and coauthor/ ghostwriter of several additional books.
