OPENING FRIDAY JANUARY 12, 2018
by Pulitzer Prize Winner LANFORD WILSON
Presented by New York's famed Circle Repertory Company, this brilliant, enthralling play has been hailed as a major work by one of our theatre's most important and celebrated writers. Alternately funny and moving, it deals with a group of former student activists and the changes that have been wrought in their lives and attitudes in the years since leaving college.
Get your Boot Scootin' Boogie going @ Chill Bar, Friday, January 26, 2018 at 7:30PM.
Two-Step, Waltz and Line Dances.
January 17-February 11, 2018
Directed by Ron Celona
Musical Direction by Scott Storr

Two one act musicals take varied looks at romance seekers. The first is a delightful romp through the sexual ennui of turn of the century Vienna based on Schnitzler’s tale The Little Comedy. Act 2 is a modern look at affection and disaffection in a two couple summer house in the Hamptons based on the Jules Renard play Summer Share.

OutBook Club & Mixer
Beginning in January, Desert Outlook magazine launches OutBook Club, supported by the Palm Springs Cultural Center, Just Fabulous and the Palm Springs Public Library. Join Desert Outlook book critic and columnist J. Corbett Holmes to discuss each month’s selection. Each book selection will be announced the previous month in the magazine. The OutBook Club will meet the third Tuesday of each month.

To join OutBook, simply pick up and read the first selection, “Dragon at the Edge of a Flat World: Portraits and Revelations,” by opera singer and first-time author Joseph Keckler. Akin to David Sedaris’ work, this diverse essay collection of multi-faceted character studies offers a plethora of clever and queer observations on everyday life.
